Museum Rotterdam

Museum Rotterdam Lab

Whoever thinks of Rotterdam pictures modern architecture and huge international harbours. But when you zoom in, there’s much more to see. Our city is diverse, multicoloured, and always changing. And that diversity is connected by a common thread: the Rotterdam mindset, reflected in themes such as care, innovation, green, cultures, and sport.

Meet inspiring Rotterdammers who work with dedication to make these Rotterdam themes happen. Each, in their own way, contributes towards the city’s development.

Historical objects and stories link today’s Rotterdammers with those of the past. And show that the challenges Rotterdammers face, and their indomitable spirit, are of all times.
