In Museum Rotterdam ´40-´45 NU you´ll experience what it means when your city is being bombed. What is life like during the subsequent occupation and persecution? In the Experience you´ll get to know some Rotterdam people and experience a shock when their and your city is bombed. In addition visitors can view a large amount of WW2 objects. The opposite wall delivers the context of the period. Who wants to know more can take an iPad and delve deeper into the collection or listen to radio stories on the benches.
The stories of the past are, unfortunately, still relevant. Even today we see people flee their war torn cities. We want to show that peace, freedom and security are not to be taken for granted.
